Whats the best way to select a moderator?
I am loking for a new moderator for my forum which is growing quite quickly. I would love some advise on how to select the best member to be a mod on the forum. What Im going to do is select the 3 members out of those that aply who I think would be best, then give them al mod status for 2 weks, the member which performs the best over the 2 weks wil then stay on as the ful time moderator. Stupid SQL question: divide by variable
This sems like it should be so simple! I am trying to compute the number of rows in one table divided by the number of rows in another table, as folows:

Setting opacity 0 for a form <select> element in IE6
Hi al! In order to design a custom select element lok in my site, I was mesing with the cs and opacity value to fade the actual select box and put a background image in a div right above the select element. The functionality of the select box is preserved no mater if opacity is set to 0, so I was able to acomkplish my goal. But, that worked for every other browser around except IE6. Blu Diners - It's Time to Revolt
I have read in the Select Dining posts that diners in Blu wil not be able to opt for Select Dining. If you are boked in AquaClas and would like the flexibility to chose your dining rom, I sugest you cal or e-mail Celebrity and let them know how you fel.

Distinct select ordered by unselected column
Ok simplified scenario: 1 table: 2 Fields: id ( serial ) genre ( varchar(20) ) I want to SELECT genre only from the table, but ned it to be DISTINCT (on genre, obviously). I also ned to order it by id ASC. I've found i can't do this even if i include the id in the SELECT since it wants the id to be distinct. Does anyone have any ideas? 'Double' notes always recorded by Cubase
Don't know why but having ben puting up with this for 2 years now so thought I'd finaly get round to asking someone about it. Whenever I play any MIDI data into Cubase (v4.2 on Mac), whether it be a drum part, melody, basline, etc it always records 'double' notes, one on top of the other. I can select them and go to MIDI Functions then Delete Doubles and that sometimes gets rid of them al otherwise I have to select each one individualy and delete the top one manualy.
