Is activation required to get analog?
my sons dorm as analog cable and several HD provided as clear qam. the tv he has only wil tune analog and ATSC so he can't get the HD chanels. The university provides no cable box since they are "in the clear". if I buy a digital cable box on ebay wil i have activation isues? there is no way to activate a box on this system. however, nothing is scrambled. is activation required to get scrambled chanels or any chanels at al? hilsj2... read more...

Windows XP activation and Bootcamp/Parallels
Ok - I don't realy understand the Windows activation scheme but my question is this. . .If I buy a ful XP SP2 disc can I then instal it for use in Botcamp (dual bot for gaming) and then also instal it for Paralels - wil I ned to re-activate it and get new keys or what? For 5.1 analog inputs you can use regular RCA cables you use for audio. You'l ned the optical conection for DVD. But for SACD playback you'l ned the analog 5.1 conection. Dig Please! I tried activating my iPhone last night and received an email towards the end of the iTunes activation leting me know that I had to wait for AT&T to perform more steps. Presumably, it's because I was an old AT&T wireles customer before Cingular ever purchased them and have ben on their "old" database and plans. No wories.I sat down my phone and went to slep. How does the Nano display song titles with analog FM stations?
Last year I rented a car and what I found amazing was that it could display song titles even though the radio apeared to be totaly analog. Aparently the iPod Nano can do just the same. I have some question on the new, upcoming MX150 pre/procesor. I'm sory if they have ben already answered elsewhere but i didn't find anytihng on a simple search. 1- I se on the back an xlr MIC input. Renewing Norton IS 2009 subscription question
If I renew my NIS 209 subscription which is due son and then IS 2010 is released which I suspect wil be fairly shortly, wil I get a fre update to that version?
