Hi al how ya doin' im going to the uk in 205 for my degre, but as my schol isnt realy suportive and british council takes ages to reply to my e-mails & telephones i'd like to ask you a couple things. what are conditional ofers? do those ocur when you have like finished the AS level and they ofer you a place if you complete the A2 with grades they aply? do GCSE's mater for UK uni's? Pre-Uni things I need to do
Is there anything I ned to do other that what is outlined in this thread: Done: - Student finance - it says asesed when I login which I asume it means it's done - right? - Student acount with overdraft - Aply and acept acomodation. Things I know i ned to do: - Sort out payments for acomodation using the online payment thingy. - Upload photo for student card. Hi, I have several stupid questions about 'student suport'. I am an international student (from EU), who wants to aply to Oxford and Edinburgh for 206. Now, the aplication guide says I should put 'EU team' if I want to study in England or 'SAS' for Scotland. Student finance hasn't changed my application to my insurance choice
Hi Basicaly, I've aplied for my student loan etc and obvs. inputed the information for my firm uni. Results day came and I'm now going to my insurance choice - this is al confirmed and fine with ucas, the university itself etc - but I just checked on my student finance and it says my status is aproved - but it is stil showing my first choice uni. US student loans: How much to bring with us?
Hey everyone I'm an overseas student (US) heading to Oxford this fal. I'm using student loans to pay for a majority of my studies. Since I'm using loans from a US loan provider, my loans ned a few weks to convert into pounds sterling before they are available to me. The finance ofice recomended that international students waiting for loans to convert bring a "few thousand pounds" with them to the UK to last them the first few weks of their stay. Student discount + VAT back? ( UK )
Hi,
Although I handed out my thesis I' m stil considered as a student in UK and can benefit from the student discount. On the other hand I might leave the country and since I'm not from UK or EU I can claim my VAT back.
I asked Aple store yesterday if I can get both . And the guy said no you can not. The reason he told me was that Schol promo is subsidized by government and government does not want to subsidize someone who is leaving the country ( which makes sense )

How much is the maximum student loans for med students in AB and BC
Hi, this is for people who have aplied for student loans in AB or BC for med schol. I've ben trying to find out how much is the maximum a medical student can receive. To just give you and idea of where I am: i already have 40 grand in loans and my parents are in the low income bracket so they canot help at al. Unsupportive work environment
I'm in ned of words of encouragement and sugestions. I'm student teaching for the semester. In my clasrom there are two teachers (two combined 1st grades because the teachers co-teach), myself as a student teacher, and another student teacher. Will my student finance be cancelled?
Okay I sorted out my student finance in July I think but things have changed since then. I was given my loans based on the presumption that I was going to a london uni as my firm and insurance were both in London. I am not going to either though as I went through clearing. When I log in to student finance, it says 'aproved, awaiting signature,' but that is for UCL and I am going to a northern uni now so I get les money.
